Margarethe Emilie Rogg, MD

Dr. Rogg is a respected family physician and gives each patient her undivided attention and is known locally for providing excellent care to her patients. Dr. Rogg attended Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York, where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in biomedical engineering and a minor in German, summa cum laude. In addition to her studies at Rensselaer, she spent a year abroad studying at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, Switzerland.

In August of 1992, she enrolled at the University of Connecticut School of Medicine, earning her Doctor of Medicine in 1996. Dr. Rogg has been board-certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.

Having observed the medical system from varying perspectives, Dr. Rogg became convinced that the medical profession needs to approach patient care differently. She began researching and training in other areas, including bioidentical hormone replacement therapy, functional medicine, and pharmacogenetics – as viable, proactive, healthcare avenues.

In addition to her diverse medical background, she is conversant in Spanish, French and German.

Dr. Rogg utilizes her training in both traditional family medicine, and nontraditional hormonal, dietary and functional approaches to care. Her practice is independent of insurance companies, meaning your visits with Dr. Rogg cannot be billed to insurance. Her cash fees are very reasonable.
